Here’s what makes the Cerwin-Vega! CVi exceptional:

  • Low-Frequency Drivers – Cast frame 15″ and 18″ Reflex loaded woofers. These efficient Cerwin-Vega woofers pack a punch with tight bass and less distortion. The CVi-218s feature an innovative stacked driver contra-sub. With this Inverse Synergy Sub configuration, the two drivers work together in the same enclosure volume producing a bass response that exceeds the output of the collective drivers. The result is cleaner, smoother low-frequency reinforcement at higher SPL levels.
  • High-Frequency Drivers – PEPT Film (Mylar) compression driver provides natural sounding instruments and vocals and Cerwin-Vega! designed Hemi-Conical Waveguide (90° x 60°) gives smooth on and off-axis frequency response.
  • Crossover – Advanced crossover network designs are employed for coherent cross-band summation throughout the coverage pattern.
  • Enclosure – An 18 gauge perforated steel grille protects the entire front of the enclosure. The carpet-covered internally braced structural wood housing is durable, light, and strong.
